Varun Gandhi released for Etah Jail, heads for Delhi

24/7 News Network: Breaking News! BJP's Lok Sabha canddiate from Pilibhit, Varun Gandhi, was released from Etah jail at 6.26 PM, after the Supreme Court granted him two week parole. Varun waved to the thousands of BJP supporters gathered outside the prison and headed for Agra along with his mother Maneka Gandhi. He reached Agra later. Varun will take a chartered flight from Agra to Delhi tonight. Varun was released from prison after 19 days.

Varun Gandhi, who was released on a two- week parole, had submitted an undertaking to the Jail Superintendent of Etah Jail. He will submit another undertaking before the Supreme Court. His bail plea will come up for hearing at the apex court after two weeks. Varun Gandhi is expected to file his nominations on April 21.

After reaching Delhi, Varun Gandhi is expected to decide on his future course of action. He will meet senior BJP leaders there. The court has allowed Varun Gandhi to contest the polls and camapaign for other candidates. He looked fit and healthy after his release from the jail. He waved at the crowd and greeted them with folded hands. A new leader was born.
